NODA Success

NODA Success

What a wonderful night celebrating all the theatre successes in Manchester over 2014 at the annual NODA North West District 1 Awards Gala. The very glitzy occasion was held at the Palace Hotel in the city centre.

We are thrilled and proud to be celebrating multiple awards for our cast and team, including Best Youth Production 2014 (Sweeney Todd) and Best Director (Daniel Jarvis).

There were also many individual awards for members past and present:

Jordan Pendleton – Best Comedy Role (HSM), Emily Clarke – Best Supporting Role (HSM), Emily Jones – Best Actress (Phantom), Matthew Rawcliffe – Best Choreographer (HSM), Chris Wagstaff – Best Actor (Phantom)

Well done to all – bring on 2015!!

Jekyll and Hyde Promo

Our good friends from Hartshead Productions captured rehearsal footage tonight. They are currently hard at work editing our preview video for Jekyll and Hyde.

We will have a sneaky glimpse of what to expect up here very soon.

Workshop with Rob Hughes

To top off a long first rehearsal of 2015, with lots of hard work in preparation for Jekyll and Hyde, we were joined by industry professional Rob Hughes. Rob has enjoyed a successful career on the stage, most notably touring in “Blood Brothers” and has recently turned his hand to the world of television. He was really impressed by the standard of the group during the workshop and offered valuable advice and mentoring to our members from performance technique to entering the professional world.

Thanks for coming down Rob we hope to see you again soon. Good Luck with the Marathon!
